A little about Sarah

Having been a busy hairdresser and running my own business for over 20 years, I, like many other people, found myself at crossroads after covid and what it did to our lives. One of my main realisations was that my hairdressing business wasn’t giving me what I needed anymore in the way of job satisfaction. There was something deep calling me towards funeral celebrancy. A career that has brought me so much already.

One thing my previous job has brought me is so many transferable skills to celebrancy. I have a natural ability to talk and listen carefully to what people want. I am approachable and caring and people find it easy to open up to me, and of course, Diplomacy and Honesty are my middle names!

I am a married mother of two teenagers and two doggies, a keen artist and a member of a choir. I am eager to try my hand at most things, I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding and spending time with my family. I love music, beaches, books and people!

I believe giving your loved one the send off they deserve is such an important and privileged thing to do. There is no escaping that a funeral is a sad and emotional occasion, but I hope to bring your memories alive for the service and help you remember and celebrate a life the way we would all like to be remembered, with love, compassion and fondness. I know from personal experience an unconsidered funeral can make the grieving process more difficult to deal with.
